why my foot still heals if i'm diabetic type 2?

If your glucose is under control and you have no symptoms of your diabetes affecting your body, then of course you will heal properly. And hopefully you will never have the issues that come about from out of control glucose (heart disease, nerve damage, eye damage, etc.).

I was diagnosed with type 2 about 10 years ago and still have no issues at all.

If they stop healing up fast, see the doctor.

That's what it is supposed to do.

Diabetics do heal, including their feet. They heal more slowly than non diabetics. They also heal slower as they get older. I speak from more than 65+ years personal life experience as a rype 1 diabetic. 

Every diabetic is different, and healing depends on many factors, circulation, ability to feel in the area, attention paid to an injured area.

Examples, if you can't feel wound, you are less likely to check the area. If there is poor circulation in the area, it will not heal as well as other areas on your body. 

Same for if your body will not allow you to view or reach an area of your body, you are less likely to do anything about the area, should you have any other issues, like less ability to feel or poor circulation.
