Broken tooth have a question ?

I’ve had a broken tooth for about a year when I finally went to treat it Covid arose thus out of fear I’ve postponed it I took antibiotics pain went away it’s been 2 months and yesterday I felt slight tingling pulsating sensation when walking or running fast forward to last night tooth hurts to bite down and is painful along with my gum out of nowhere my question is can this be because I may have broke it a little and it’s sore or because the infection came back ? It doesn’t help I grinded my teeth in my sleep and irritated it
