I'm 5'8 and weigh 124 pounds could I qualify for gastric bypass surgery? I want to lose 15 pounds.

No. You have to have a BMI of at least 35. You have a BMI of 18.9, which is borderline underweight. Losing more weight would be unhealthy.

If you’re 5’8” and female, don’t do it. 124 pounds is quite small for female especially at your height. Losing 15 pounds could even bring in some health risks.
If you’re male, you may want to reconsider why you’re doing this. Losing that much weight and at your height could be dangerous and may affect your health.
If you’re trying to lose weight, think of diets and exercise, but at your height, you might want to consider gaining weight and exercising to tone it out. Being thin and light isn’t always healthy.
