Is the American electoral system the worst in the world?

trump has single handedly succeeded in destroying american democracy, without the help of ISIS

well, I guess there are still countries where your life can be in danger if you try to vote, especially for the 'wrong' candidate,  and probably to some extent there is a possibility of you facing physical harassment even in this country with militia members standing guard with ARs at the polling places. It's all relative I guess. But other than voter intimidation, I guess the electoral college is anachronistic and dangerous here. After all, because of it, a maniac like donald trump can lose the popular vote and still become president. Not good.

not really, but proportional representation (popular vote), would of meant a bigger margin of victory for the liberals, and almost definately would be true in future elections

I kind of like it tbh adds more fun to the election
