What does this symbol mean?

Realitivly new to lawn tractors, I've had my john deere e160 for 2 years now. I could never figure out what that symbol on my throttle above the rabbit is and the blue one beside it. Anyone can help me out

The blue area is for the start position, where the choke is applied. The white area is the normal operating range once it's started.

I can't even make it out clearly in that photo. Have you got a manual? Or can you find one online?
