HOW DOES GOD FEEL WHEN PEOPLE SUFFER?

God cares about us. He is not indifferent to our pain and sorrow. He feels hurt when we suffer. 

“Throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.”​—1 PETER 5:7.

People suffer because they ask for it, they drink alcohol like hell, playing and gambling as their part of lives , double cross and telling lies to each others , so most of them become enmity to each others, then create the First and Second World Wars and Proxy Wars all over the globe up till now . Even worse, they turn against GOD and deny HIS only religion that GOD send down for all mankind to lead their daily lives from the beginning till the end of the world. So who is to be blamed for the suffering of mankind, as to your mention.

How does God feel about what is going on in the world and in your life? Well, the Bible teaches that God “loves justice.” (Psalm 37:28) So he cares deeply about what is right and what is wrong. He hates all kinds of injustice. The Bible says that God’s “heart was saddened” when badness filled the world in times past. (Genesis 6:5, 6) God has not changed. (Malachi 3:6) He still hates to see the suffering that is taking place worldwide. And God hates to see people suffer. “He cares for you,” the Bible says.​—Read 1 Peter 5:7.

YHVH GOD IS NOT HAPPY WHEN PEOPLE SUFFER. WHY WILL PEOPLE SUFFER RATHER THAN RETURN TO THEIR FATHER GOD.

God, the Creator of all things in existence, is pure Love. He also has given His creation free choice. God always teaches to us the right path. But when we wander off, like a rebellious three year old, we suffer from our bad choices.

  God's love isn't any less while we suffer, but like all children who continue to cry as their parent has already begun to heal them, so God has made a plan of Salvation for all creation to return to Paradise in Heaven, where there will be no crying or sorrow, no corruption.

  To get there we cannot be selfish, which was the base of your question.
