I believe that the presidential election has been strange, due to how long it has taken for the results to be released. I hope that soon people will begin to be calm acting again, and I am interested in seeing what the future of the country will look like.

Getting rid of silly superstitions.

The fact that we're living in a 'post-truth' era where objective truth is no longer relevant;

The rise of Right-wing Nationalism all over the world;

Climate change and how it will eventually lead to conflicts in the poorest regions in the world, leading to climate refugees and war refugees who will go to Europe and America - inevitably leading to the further rise of Nationalism as people will look forward for a far-right candidate to close the borders and keep the Muslims out;

The decline of Neo-Liberalism as the leading political ideology in the world;

The recent ethnic conflicts in the Caucasus region that might lead to the CSTO getting involved, which would piss off Turkey (who's a NATO member) leading to a international crisis;

Island States such as the Solomon Islands, Malta, The Maldives, etc.. will be the first ones to be affected by rising sea levels in the next 50 to 80 years, leading to refugees crisis and all;

Africa will become the new Middle East in the next 50 years. A gigantic rising population, constant instability, raging poverty, rising climates, heat waves and the consequent death of crops leading to famines, and the rise of Islamic extremism will lead Africa to a war orgy that will reck the continent and bring death to lots of people and, u guess it..
