If a person is symptomatic in a home. Can I safely provide 1:1 therapy to another person in the home?

I show up to the home and they are not expecting me. It’s dark and I’m told they thought it wasn’t safe because of the symptoms a child was having(headache chills on and off). I left and was told I can provide as long as symptomatic kid can isolate. It just sounds so different from what would call it off after initial screening. Anyone up to date on CDC guidelines for this situation?

It says you can help them if they isolate.

The family is just doing it for safety.
