Why do I thrive in high stress environments but not in low stress environments?

I know a lot of people crumble in high stress situations, I feed on it and excel. You would think thatd mean I'd do even better in low stress environments but the reality is in those I'm a bit of a slouch and don't do so well.

Luckily my occupations have generally put me in higher stress environments but I have to wonder why I am the way I am. Any ideas?

I'm like that. I consider myself an adrenaline junkie, and in guessing the reason you're like that is because you feed off of adrenaline. It's not a bad thing to thrive like that. I hope everything turns out alright, God bless!
