Foster slug vs. Pumpkin ball in smooth-bore 12 gauge?

The Foster slug will be more accurate and have better ballistic qualities.  A "pumpkin ball" is not that different than old smoothbore musket ball -- inaccurate and poor ballistic qualities

Pretty sure that a foster slug will be more accurate and allows use of a slight choke.

200 years ago the so-called "pumpkin ball" may have been used but the somewhat skirted slug works better in a smooth bore. Some skirts expand to seal bypassing gasses to make use of all elements to increase velocity.

I would use the slug. Just my opinion.

Guns are very dangerous and need banned.
