Will the standard workweek for some businesses change in light of the pandemic?

Ford made history by establishing the 5 day work week from a 6 day work week.

Aside from the national lockdown, if anyone has experienced it, it seems to me that it's been proven that the economy can still thrive with everyone working from home, aside from restaurants, etc.

Is this an indication that the standard work week for most business can change from an hourly based business to a goal oriented based business?

Is it possible that 2 days office/3 days home, 3 days office/2 days home, all home, may be a new standard?

Update:

Anonymous, is absolutely correct, hence why Republicans DO NOT want a lockdown.  Spoken like a true Trump supporter.

"Will the standard workweek for some businesses change in light of the pandemic?"  Some businesses have changed their hours of operation.   Will those changes be permanent?   Probably not.

"it's been proven that the economy can still thrive with everyone working from home, aside from restaurants"    Baloney.  And by the way, many people don't WANT to stay home.  They want to go out and do things and many miss their coworkers too.

"Is this an indication that the standard work week for most business can change from an hourly based business to a goal oriented based business?"    Businesses are already goal-oriented, not hour-oriented.    It's always been about the bottom line.  There is nothing new about this.

"Is it possible that 2 days office/3 days home, 3 days office/2 days home, all home, may be a new standard?"   Maybe for some businesses, but not the majority.  It all depends on the type of business.
