are you guys celebrating Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving this year?

So im keeping it small this year. I am doing Friendsgiving but it will be about 8 of us and we have tested negative for covid. (I caught it last month). Recently got tested and waiting on my results. However, I'm also getting tested again to be sure about next weekend when I go to my parent's house. it will be just 5 of us this year.

It's weird because I usually do big thanksgiving dinners with my relatives since I have a big family but obviously, we arent doing that this year.

Anyways what are your plans for thanksgiving?

For Heaven's Sake, please stop using the Friendsgiving name.  It's Thanksgiving and always will be.  Second, you just had Covid last month and now you're hosting Thanksgiving?  It's way too close to your Covid-19 infection date for you to be hosting or attending any kind of gathering.

    No.

The family we usually celebrate with has canceled their plans.  I tried to invite some people over to our place and they declined on account of COVID.

Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite holiday of the year and is turning into a bust this year.

We don't do that here in the UK. That's why you Americans are so fat.

You should anticipate someone could get exposed the day before Thanksgiving.
