Let's talk about evil...and hypocrisy.
In the first and second Opium Wars, European forces used modern military technology to easily defeat the Chinese, compelling the government to grant favorable tariffs, trade concessions, and territory. In addition China gave the sovereignty over Hong Kong to Britain.
As I type this the United States continues to support the fiction that Taiwan not a part of China.
In 1953, the Iranian government of Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, elected in a free and fair election was overthrown and replaced by the Shah in a coup orchestrated by the CIA.
