Was Rittenhouse really a political prisoner since his action were so obviously defensible?

If his actions were political than he's a terrorist.  I don't think his lawyers want to go there.  Better to portray him as a reckless stupid kid who should never have had  a gun in the first place.

It's going to be a stretch even to defend against manslaughter as he clearly planned to shoot people or he would not have had the weapon.

Under what authority did he kill people?  He wasn't defending his home, he isn't a cop, nor in any other type of where the use of deadly force is permitted.  He's a pathetic little troll with a gun who ruined lives.  I just can't believe he's out on bail.

I think that's still to be determined.

It seems like he only shot people who attacked him first...at least according to the video that emerged afterwards.

So long as he gets a fair trial, I wouldn't describe him as a political prisoner.

So you have a rifle you can't legally possess, travel to another state with it and go to an area of unrest and shoot 3 people and claim self-defense. Ok
