    There's lies, damn lies and then there's statistics. 

     

    Some nations have a lot of God given resources [oil, natural gas, etc] with very low population. Norway, as an example, has a public-private company [Equinor] which makes a whopping $61 billion in revenues, which in places like the USA is not much, but when you consider that Norway has a population smaller than many cities, it puts things into perspective. 

    This is a massive subsidy not all nations have.

    It has been also found that inequality has no relation to growth, the level of CO2 has no relation to climate change, capitalism has no relation to democracy and many more.
