How large is the cult of New Atheists who are striving to destroy Christianity?

If it was a small number then I would not be so obsessed with them and dedicate my life to exposing them instead of serving widows and orphans as Jesus commanded.

Update 2:

@Bob - Exposing New Atheists on Y!A will take them down.

Update 3:

I would rather clone myself and troll Y!A than serve widows and orphans as Jesus commanded.  It's much easier.

Dawkins is recruiting even now. He has been training younger militant atheist scientists to recruit as well. Evil never sleeps. It never sleeps and Dawkins has been relentless. Relentless to destroy the gentle, sweet, nice Christianity, crush it into the dust beneath all those marxist, nihilist, commie, socialist AOC-addicted bottoms.

Go ye therefore and actively mock all Christians. It's the number one commandment among the Dawkinites. They will deny it, but like Fight Club, the first rule of the Dawkinites is that no one talks about being a Dawkinite.

Pray for the fight ahead, hunters of Dawkinites. Pray. Pray real hard for the strength needed to overcome these wily sheep of an apple-cheeked biologist dark wizard.

From memory I think Pew Research found the atheist population in the US is around 6% and growing.  I suspect the vast majority of them could give a rats *** what happens to Christianity.  They just don't want to be a part of it.

    .

OK from reading other answers I guess you are talking about outspoken athists like Dawkins, Harris...   I think their effort is largely a reaction to Christianity in the US evolving from a religion to a right wing political party.  At that point it's not just an old superstition, it is activily and negatively affecting people's (ie LGBTQ people) lives.

So not believing your deity fables will cause the destruction of your religion? Didn't know it was such a fragile thing.

I'm unsure what a "new atheist" is.  I've been an atheist for about 40 years, so nothing new about me.  Atheists represent roughly 4% of the US. Most of us don't really care how you spend your Sundays, or what you pray to.  We just don't like it when you try to make us do it too.

Being obsessed about a group of people that you know nothing about it irrational.

Atheism (new or otherwise) as no desire to destroy any religion.  It is simply a lack of belief in the existence of any gods.

If you feel "exposing" atheists is important, you go right ahead.

New Atheism is advanced by a group of thinkers and writers who advocate the view that superstition, religion and irrationalism should not simply be tolerated but should be countered, criticized, and exposed by rational argument wherever their influence arises in government, education, and politics.

So you agree exposing nonsense is acceptable - good to know.
