"Can you be feminist and pro-life?"

No, you cannot.  Here's why.  Under CLASSIC FEMINISM we had "the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes".  So using that label, even *I* am a feminist.  But  no feminist here in this forum is ever going to accept me as a feminist. Why?  Because feminism today is NOT classic feminism.  It is an ideology that uses critical theory and identity politics instead.  Since I do believe in equality, but do not go along with the values of critical theory and identity politics, then I am NOT a feminist.  In fact, I am called an "anti-feminist".

Classic feminism (equal Rights) is over.  That is old-school feminism that no longer exists as a movement.  Today's feminists love to trot out the definition of classic feminism only to excuse their ideology, which they don't really talk about.  But it can be easily defined by the actions of its prominent members.  This is the only way to define feminism in its modern incarnation.

Using the "women's march" (feminist march) as an example, they specifically banned pro-life women from any platform there.  This was actively discussed by the leaders.

Modern feminism is not just against pro-life women, but also against any woman that is conservative, or pro-family, or Republican.  You simply cannot have your own opinions either when it comes to politics, immigration, the transsexual agenda, religion, and a lot of other things completely unrelated to women's advocacy (classic feminism).

In a world that is overpopulated, pro life leads to miserable deaths.  Ultimately from disease, malnutrition, wars, pestilence or natural disasters.  Unless we control our breeding GOD will control our folly instead.

I can't personally see it but it isn't up to me.  If a feminist is pro-life, I would imagine that on the whole she would be able to reconcile the two positions.  There is, for example, the question of how many women would seek a termination if lesbian separatism were the norm and there was adequate social support for parenting.

Yes of course you can.  The issue around Abortion is very complex and no one should dictate who is allowed to have one opinion etc...  Perhaps if an expert in fetal development could come on this site and explain which week a fetus is classed as Human, rather than a bunch of cells, it may help this debate.

It may also help if Pro Lifer's could tell us why they support an unborn 'person' over a fully formed human.

If you're pro-life, no modern feminist will accept you as a part of their movement. They believe that a woman has the right to total control over her body, even if that means killing another human being.

No. If you're a feminist, you support equal basic rights for all meaning that a woman just like men, should be able to freely decide for her life and her body and physcial integrity and autonomy and be safe from anything forced on her. You can't support those and at the same time support enslavement and violation of the very basic rights of women. If you are identifying as such, you'd be like a pedophile that claims he supports children's rights! It'd be like a really very bad joke or a sign that you are mentally unwell.

Well, first wave feminists like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were against abortion and would today be consider pro-life. Feminism was in fact a pro-life movement up until the late 1950's.You could say that to be a true feminist is to be pro-life as it is the only way to uphold equality between all humans.

"Feminism, the belief in social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. Although largely originating in the West, feminism is manifested worldwide and is represented by various institutions committed to activity on behalf of women's rights and interests."

    🥴 Of course.

The thing is.... Feminism supports the right to have the freedom to choose, pro life or pro choice.
