That seems to be his plan. He’s currently milking them for hundreds of millions of dollars

He desensitized his supporters to his lying quite early on, and as he said, he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose any support. Maybe he will aim slightly lower and use a taser on Ivanka, just to see if his supporters care.

His support is now down to 60 million, give it a few more months, it will be negligible.
