How about given $10,000 to each of the bottom earning 100,000,000 adults? (Total 1 trillion)?

Not only would it help those receiving the checks but it would in turn help:

+ Landlords and banks who haven't been getting rent or mortgage payments.

+ Local businesses, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, hardware and department stores, etc.

+ The manufacturers of products, the suppliers of parts or raw materials.Local and state governments who have reduced income from sales-tax and increased demands on services.

+ Dentist, Drs., hospitals, clinics, etc. who haven't been getting payments or who have reduced income because patient's have been holding off on care until they got some money.

+ Charities

+ Transportation companies and their employees.

+ almost everyone.

It would also provide a great relief and improve mental health for all those who are on verge of financial collapse and/or being thrown out on the streets.

Update:

As for funding, doing this instead of the current 2nd relief plan which costs about the same.

While I agree with the other poster who said they are already getting more than that, please explain how this is funded - and be specific.

"From the government" is not specific. The government has no money unless people people pay taxes, the money is borrowed (usually by floating bonds) or printing more money which puts the country further in debt (as does floating paper because interest needs to be paid).

At some point, this continued plan runs out of other people's money...

People who lost their jobs due to Covid already received more than that.   They were getting regular unemployment (let's just guess around $800/week) plus an additional $600 federal bonus each week.   That's $6000 just in ONE MONTH.   And $12,000 if a couple.
