No. Had I been, I'd have been born in Russia when it was a state in the Soviet Union. I'd have had to live through not just the Cold War on the Soviet Union's side but also had to have survived the fall of my country's government and the rise of the present totalitarian oligarchy that in heated competition with Putin's authoritarianism now rules Russia.
