Do you think its a red flag when a women doesn't offer to pay her half on a first date?

I won't call a woman back if she doesn't at least offer to pay her part on a first date. I am not against paying, but that is just a red flag she will use you for money and resources. Marry you for alimony and child support after the inevitable divorce she has planned.

Update:

Why? I'm not your ATM

Update 2:

Thank you all for showing women are superficial and only care about money

Update 3:

@iampro, does a waitress actually refuse to take your money? Wow, I've never had that happen. Thats dumb.

I don't offer to pay on first dates anymore.

I'm honestly just sick of hearing men and waiters telling me that it's not a woman's place. A lot of waiters outright refuse to take money from you and it can be humiliating.

I also don't pay halves. A lot of places don't take split bills so it's easier to just take turns.

Does that mean I want to marry you? No. Does it mean I want your money? No. Does it mean I want to get married for the sole purpose of divorce? Nope.

I have a job, a car, plans to buy my own house and get my career on a certain track before I think of marrying anyone, least of all the guy I've been on one date with. So if a guy can't see that I have at least just as much, if not more, to lose in a divorce... He is welcome to never call again.

Anyone, who asks someone out, is the one who should pay, UNLESS they make it very clear that it is a Dutch treat.  And, THAT is really only for someone who has no interest in a romantic relationship at all.

I think your just a cheapskate.  If you want her to pay her share discuss it before you get to the restaurant or McDonalds right?  It is wrong to use this as a test on whether you should ask someone out again.  you sure are judgemental for someoe who just wanted to take a girl out for a meal, I think she is better off not having you call her back.  Whew that was a close one for her lol.

You should not judge a entire group by some bad apples. Some women would not mind paying for half the date.

The person asking the other out should be the one to pay regardless of gender.

I've never had a man ask me to pay half on a date. You're the red flag.

On a first date, when you ask a woman out, you are the 'host' and so it is like inviting someone to your house.. if she came to your house, would you be expecting her to bring her own food and drinks? I would guess (hopefully!) not.. that isn't how I would treat people who I invite over.. However, if by the second or third date she is making no move to help with the cost, then yes, I would say that is a red flag..

You say you are not against paying but you seem you do mind paying! You also seem to have trust issues - you feel used by women, and think the worst of them. This is going to show in your interactions with women.. and it won't show you in a good light, I'm afraid.

You are the red flag [the male], for expecting it.
