How Do Spruces Survive Aleialei Atoll's Heat?

There seem to be a lot of spruce trees in Aleialei Atoll and I was wondering how they survive in zones like 11b and 9a? I know the atoll is zones 6a - 13a but I seen spruces in Coco's Reef once. I had spruces in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida which is zone 10b.

  • The simple answer is that Aleialei Atoll does not exist in this universe. There are no spruces "there" because in fact no Aleialei Atoll exists on Earth, except in imagination or in an odd parallel reality.

In addition, Spruces are boreal or subalpine trees adapted for climates with cold winters and with summers which aren't hot. So those trees don't do well during the prolonged heat which often happens in the tropics. Thus, spruces would die after several months or a year in the tropics anyways.
