Floridians, would you eat python if it was safe?

Florida may have pythons as a new menu item if scientists confirm they're safe to eat.

    My dad said he ate python years ago when he worked in India.  They cut it into steaks and cooked it that way.  I’ve eaten alligator when we visit Florida - why not python?  They’ve become a serious problem, and it’s one more way to get rid of them.

    I have had python sausage. It was spicy but pretty good.

    I would try it. Alligator and shark aren’t bad. And if it became popular, it would help control the overpopulation in the Everglades.

    Why would pythons not be edible?  I have had alligator and rattlesnake before.  If that was all that was available I would eat it.
