Can a pregnant guinea pig be with a male guinea pig?
My friend gave her pregnant guinea pig to me. I have a male guinea pig. Can I house them together since she is pregnant anyway as long as I take him out once she is farther along? If she has males once they are 3 weeks I will put them in with dad and the females will stay with mom. But in the meantime can she stay with the male? They already met outside of the cage and they got along well. I do have a second cage if she needs to be housed alone

Ya I don’t see it being a problem since she’s already pregnant and can’t get pregnant during her pregnancy but also it could stress her out
