Why did GOD give Christians POWER to create the new heaven & earth but today's Christians are waiting for Him to come & do it; when too late?

CHRISTIANS RECEIVE (((POWER))) [ACTS 1:8] AFTER HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM [ACTS 1:5] WHEN WE "BECOME THE SONS OF GOD" (JOHN 1:12).

GOD SAID IN ISAIAH 42:6-7; GNT

“I, the LORD, have called you and given you (((POWER))) [Received after Holy Spirit baptism; Acts 1:5;8]

    to see that justice is done on earth.

(((THROUGH YOU))) I will make a covenant with all peoples;

    (((THROUGH YOU))) I will bring light to the nations.

 You will open the eyes of the blind

    and set free those who sit in dark prisons."

WHEN WE PHYSICALLY DIE OUR "SPIRITS RETURN TO GOD WHO GAVE IT" (ECCLESIASTES 12:7)

TO "STAND BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST" (ECCLESIASTES 12:14; II CORINTHIANS 5:10)

"While they were stoning him, Stephen appealed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit" (Acts 7:59).

"Then Jesus called out in a loud voice, "Father, into Your hands I commit My Spirit." And when He had said this, He breathed His last" (Luke 23:46).

When are we going to see this New heaven and New earth that today's Christians believe Jesus is going to return and build?
