Do hotels have access to a list of people who are supposed to be on quarantine? ?

If a person is supposed to be on quarantine, but they make hotel reservations,  will the hotel staff call the police on them after they've checked in?

    Federal health information privacies laws (HIPPA) make it illegal for anyone to share health information about you without your permission.  It would be illegal for anyone to release a list of people who have or are supposed to be in quarantine because of COVID 19.  No such list exist.

    Yeah, sure, hotels work for the government.  They don't have a hotel to run. SMH
