If a person is supposed to be on quarantine, but they make hotel reservations,  will the hotel staff call the police on them after they've checked in? 

I paid my car off two months ago and when I did, I called the finance company to make sure they had the correct address to send the title to (which was the same address they were sending all my bills). I confirmed they had the right address.  They claimed they mailed the title on Oct. 23 to an address in a different state that I haven't lived at or received mail at in over 3 years. Now they're telling me they don't mail out duplicates and if I want my titile, I'll have to pay for one. 

My fear is that it will get in the wrong hands. At this point would it be in my best interest to just pay for another one or continue going back and forth with the car company in hopes they'll send me out another one? 

I recently paid off my car. If I had kept making payments, it would have been paid off sometime next year, but I thought I'd help my credit my paying it off. Boy was I wrong. I just looked at my credit report and it went down 13 points!!!! I don't get it. I thought eliminating debt was supposed to be a good thing. Especially when I've been making payments for the past 5 years!! Why did it go down?

I have 3 months left in my lease and since I'm a single mom and have a budget I need to plan ahead. Is it too soon to contact my landlord about whether or not there will be a rent increase? 

I paid off the balance due on my car. How much should it impact my credit?

I signed a lease starting on February 1st.  I didn't physically move in until February 23rd. When I first saw the rental property (before applying), I loved it, but noticed some things about it like broken blinds and carpet stains, but since I loved the house so much, I decided to apply anyway. Once I signed by lease, I was given the walk thru checklist to mark off things that needed to be repaired. Now here I am just on my third week of living here and I'm noticing bugs (cockroaches, roaches and other kinds of bugs) throughout the house. At my previous residence, we didn't have bugs so I know I didn't bring them. I've contacted the realtor that I'm renting from. They sent out an exterminator, but he only came once. Since then, my dad has sprayed inside and outside the house and I've sprayed inside the house and around doorways and I'm still finding dead ones inside the house in different areas. I am completely disgusted by this because my young children live with me and neither of us deserve to live in a house with bugs. It has only been two weeks and I'm ready to move already, but I literally don't have anymore money to move. If I break my lease, I'll lose my money, but if I knew this place had bugs, I never would have moved here. Is there anything I can do to get out of my lease legally and still be able to get my security deposit back? 

I'm in the process of creating my will. Should I use my current address or the address I will be moving to in three weeks, which will be in a completely different state?

My job is giving me a relocation stipend in the amount of $5,250. I've read online that. This is taxable income so how much if this will I actually receive? 

My job is transferring me to Atlanta and I have no idea about areas there.What are the best areas to live in, that are relatively affordable. I need a 2 bedroom, prefer 2 ba, washer and dryer or connections. I have children, so being near a good school district is also a must. 

I've been with my current employer for 3 years. They're opening locations in other states so I applied to be transferred (same position). I did a video interview last week Wednesday. I received an email three days ago with answers to questions I had during the interview.  However, when I asked about when I should hear back about whether I'm being offered a position, I received a response like this "I received an email from my supervisor today. He says he is reaching out to the current stakeholders. He is new so things are moving a bit slower, but I'm pushing to hear something back from him ASAP." I don't know what this means, but I need to know something because the end of my lease is coming up and I need to let my leasing office know if I'll be moving. I may be a little impatient, but I need to know ASAP. I've told them this. Either way, I'd like to know their decision. I'm not a new employee so I don't understand why it takes so long so make a decision on allowing an employee to transfer states. 

Met this guy online five days ago. We met in person two days later. We both agreed that we liked what we saw and wanted to see each other again. During our initial conversations, we agreed that we both wanted a relationship with the potential of marriage. Today he said was off work so I kind of expected him to call/text me throughout the day, but he didn't. He took forever to respond to my texts and when he did respond, his answers were either very short or one word.

I know it's still early, but I'm not used to this. How are we supposed to get to know each other if he won't communicate? I'm certainly not going to reach out to him about us meeting today because that would make me look stupid, but should I just count it as a loss and move on ?

I'm currently with Sprint on a family plan, but will need to find another provider.Verizon is too expensive for me. I've always thought AT&T was the next best after Verizon, but I don't know.

I received 12 calls back to back, a voicemail and a text message at 2:30 am from my daughters father because he thought I had someone call him from a blocked number. His text said "Keep someone call me with a private number and we gonna have a problem real talk ". Now I had absolutely nothing to do with anyone calling him and I don t know what he s talking about. He told me before that he wanted to keep his distance from me to keep from hurting himself or me. I haven t messaged him or contacted him in any way since June, but at this point I feel like he has become threatening and harrassing and wonder if there s anything I can do to ensure the safety of our child and myself.

I recently contacted my daughters father in a final attempt to find out his reason for not wanting to be a part of our 16 month old daughters life. He pretty much told me that he had a problem with me and sent this text "I want to keep my distance from you to keep me from harming you or myself". He also told me in previous text messages that I'm one of the reasons he wanted to take his life a year ago. He has never threatened to harm our daughter, but I don't want him to try to come around in the future and end up trying to bring me or our daughter harm. I still have these texts in my phone and would like to file a restraining order, but is what he said enough evidence to be used in court?

P.S. Not sure if it makes any difference, but I live in Virginia, he lives in Maryland.

My parents bought a house in South Carolina in 2011. The house next door to them was recently purchased. Now my parents are being told that their house is on the property of the house next door and because of this, the buyers may run into issues later with the purchase. What, if anything, can be done?

A friend of mine who works in the linen services department (restocking supplies) of a hospital, said he was in the ER department today when a gunshot victim came in coding. He claimed to do CPR on him. I think he's full of crap because don't hospitals have a team of medical professionals that are responsible for responding to codes? Especially while in the ER, I'd think there would be doctors and nurses who would come to the rescue.

Had night sweats starting this past Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. Diarreah started Thursday morning and has continued through today. Not going several times a day but when I go, the stools are loose. No other symptoms. I did start my period Thursday morning. I was thinking and hoping they both were because of my cycle, but I m worried about HIV. Last unprotected sexual encounter was August 28th. I got tested on Thursday but dont have results back yet. I m paranoid.

I have one partner that I ve been sexually active with. A few days after having unprotected sex with him, I start getting vaginal discharge. It s sometimes whitish other times yellowish. No foul odor, no itching, burning or painful urination. Each time this has happened, I ve gone to the doctor to get tested, but the results always come back negative. Is there a such thing as being allergic to someone? I know it sounds crazy but I m starting ti think that s what it is.

I have a court date set up for unpaid rent. I've had them before but never showed up because I be always had the money to pay prior to the court date. This time, however, will be different. I don't have the money to pay,but have given my landlord my 30 day notice to vacate and have asked to make payment arrangements. If I don't show up this time, will they issue a warrant for my arrest?
