How was Hagrid almost 9ft tall in Harry Potter?

 But the guy who played hagrid is only 6ft tall, how does that work?

    Nowadays it's very easy to take a normal human being and fix the one image to be 1.5%. so if the person is 6 ft tall and actual life the person will be 9 ft tall in the movie and it will look perfectly natural
