Why was it important to the apostles to lay hands on everyone in the Church after Pentecost to receive Holy Spirit baptism (I Cor 12:13)?

Update:

@MAGIX

Are you really that Spiritually IGNORANT not knowing a man's hands when one "lays on hands" is "GOD WORKING in us" (Philippians 2:13)?

GOD is (((NOT))) working in us when we water baptize each other that HE DOES (John 1:33) and there's only "ONE BAPTISM" (Ephesians 4:5).

"ADD thou NOT to His Word or He will rebuke you and you be found to be a LIAR" (Proverbs 30:6).

Update 2:

@MALCOLM

How can you be "a member of the body of Christ" (I Corinthians 12:11-13) without "Spiritual gifts" (I Corinthians 12:7-10) received after Holy Spirit baptism (I Corinthians 12:13)?

Since you believe "fulfilled" and died out according to I Corinthians 13:8, you (((ARE NOT))) a "member of the body of Christ" (I Corinthians 12:11-13) the (((ONLY))) Christians.

Update 3:

@PUBLIUS

"And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the LORD, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the LORD Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?" (Acts 11:15-17).

Did anyone "lay hands on" the Gentiles in Acts 11:15-17?

You need to get out of that 'church.'

Update 4:

How can you have TRUTH when "wisdom" and "knowledge" are "Spiritual gifts" received (I Corinthians 12:8) AFTER Holy Spirit baptism (I Corinthians 12:13)?

    False equivalent.  The spiritual gifts were imparted by the "laying on of hands" by the apostles, which empowered those people to repeat that action.  All of that ceased according to 1 Cor. 13.  This in no way suggests Holy Spirit baptism, like Acts 2:1-4 was the fulfilled promise to the apostles in John 14-15-16.

    I don't know since "worshipping with man's hands" is said to be useless and condemns you to hell.

    Update: you add things to scripture all the time. You add HS baptism even though it is not in the scritpure you are quoting. You do that to suit your agenda. Then you go and say that is not to be done. I guess that means it should not be done by anyone but you.
