Will things become better or worse with Biden?

Who knows.  We were on a long stretch of growth since the beginning of 2009, which usually translates into an inevitable softening in the cyclical economy.  We just got a slowdown from the pandemic though, so it all depends if this was enough correction to go into full recovery, or if we will fall a bit more first.  

A president does not control an economy like they do in China.  They can influence it mildly through spending and taxes, but with a capitalist country such as ours, we do not have that much control.

@Robert - Wow.  Trump raised spending and cut taxes, making the debt go up more than under Obama who was fighting the Great Recession, and this was before the pandemic hit.  You hypocrites did not like Obama trying to spend out of recession, but you are okay with Trump who is far worse?

Iran did NOT cost us billions.  We never gave them any money.  We released what was theirs and we were holding from them as part of the embargo.  It was NEVER ours.

Oil prices are set on world markets, not domestic, and Canada is our number one supplier of foreign oil, not the middle east.  When we import less from Canada it does nothing because their oil is landlocked in the middle of the country and relies on pipelines to bring it to the Gulf Coast.  OPEC sets output and influences prices more than fracking does, because they just limit the amount of output and make prices go up.

The man is known in political circles as the dumbest man in Washington.  It is obvious to everyone that he suffers some king of impairment, possibly dementia.  He has stated he will raise taxes, get back in the Iran deal that cost us billions and gave nothing in return, not even a real slowing of them making a bomb.  He promised to get back into the weather deal that will send more billions to a world authority without doing anything for climate.   He will end fracking and energy independence which means fuel prices will go up.  We can probably enjoy rolling blackouts like the liberals morons in California have caused.   He doesn't seem to know where he is or what day it is.  Yeah things are going to be swell with SloJoe Biden. 

Don't know because the electoral college hasn't delivered their votes to congress and when they do it will be contested

Better, but rightwing media will claim everything is worse.

Things will become better. COVID will be over, the economy will improve, foreign relations will relax, Biden will push aggressively for public option health insurance which is very much needed.
