I am claimed as a dependent by my parents.

Anyone who either is claimed or can be claimed as a dependent by someone else will not receive a stimulus check. Since you are claimed as a dependent, you cannot receive a stimulus payment.
That is actually a very simple rule, which many people tend to twist into something far more complex than it is.

If they have declared you as a dependent THEY will get the money
If you have filed taxes and they can not declare you as a dependent YOU will get the money.

Never. But they should. Needs of adult college student requires money.
When money is handed to parent, the parent will NOT give it to the student --- he will use it for own.
Example a college student wants to buy 4k uhd tv for $600. The parent will not let him buy it.
But if the $600 was given to student directly he would buy it.
Besides study, entertainment is needed also --- thats student need. Parents don't recognize such needs.
Fireball --- no. Even if adult they don't get anything. Thats one reason why huge number of college students likely voted Biden. It was revenge vote.

Not directly. Your parents will get the 600. You can ask them to give it to you.
