His new strategy is attaching amendments of what Trump wants and Democrats hate, such as the social media company protection lifting. Whatever is added has to pass both Houses of Congress. Only identical bills can go to the President. 

Republicans in Congress in general are supporting the rich people that pour campaign money at them. Ted Cruz got some pork in the 5000 page bill to get his big contributors $35 million in tax breaks. The only reason it passed the Senate at all is because there was tons of money for special interests.

The overall plan is hope (or contribute cash) towards the Georgia Senate races next week Jan 5. As long as it doesn't go insane in Congress January 6th with the Electoral Votes, no more Trump on the 20th of January and they are working on a plan to help with past due rent and mortgages and additional cash. Grand Papa Joe Biden suggested $4000. It has to be looked at again between Jan 20 and 30th. 

If crooked rich David Perdue and QAnon crazy super-rich Kelly Loeffler of the Republicans lose the Georgia US Senate to Reverend Raphael Warnock and investigative journalist Jon Ossoff, Senate is 50-50 and Kamala Harris tie vote. McConnell is no longer majority leader.
