Can I be a good mentor if I don’t know what to talk about with teenage mentee? ?
I’m a mentor with an organization similar to big brother big sister and I volunteer for this. However, I am the mentor to two teenage girls. It’s still in the beginning of our relationship but sometimes I don’t know what to talk about with them. What can I talk about, say or do so it’s not boring?

Ask them what they're into and listen to what they say. Teen girls are like in other group in that they're not all into exactly the same stuff. This may require you learning some new things just to be able to talk to them. But find out what you need to bone up on in order to have conversations with these girls.
