Which one is better: Netflix or Amazon Prime?

I prefer Amazon Prime.

both often have free month trials you can sign up for.  try each and cancel before the trial ends.  if you have a birthday coming up, ask for a subscription.

 a lot of shows are leaving netflix for other services - cbs, nbc, etc are all starting their own services.  so shows from those channels will be gone.  like the office on nbc.  etc.

i've watched a couple shows like jack ryan on amazon prime.  it's not bad.

That's mostly a matter of personal tastes.

Netflix's movie choices are poor overall, but they have good TV series they've created as well as ones they have the exclusive rights to.

Prime has more movie choices that I find decent, but less TV that I like, although they, too, have ones they've created.
