Tax liability and Stamp Duty charges on Transfer of shares from one DMAT account (myself) to another DMAT account (my daughter) ?
I would like to transfer some of the shares in my DMAT account (Upstox) to my daughter and my wife using CDSL online. Both of them holding DMAT account with different broker ( Zerodha) . My question is I am transferring shares as a gift..
1. Is there any tax liability on these transfers ?
2. Howmuch it cost in terms of stamp duty etc ?
3. If anyone know howmuch Upstox charges as service charge ?
