Are women supposed to shave their vaginal lips like where hair grows? ?

The reason I ask because, I shave where you can open your vaginal lips where hairs grows and I feel like I have a bad razor burn that I can't seem to get heal.

I started shaving down there since high school to be cool just like those other girls they are today.

I mean my obgyn doctor never tells me it's wrong at all.

NO.  Pubic hair grows there for a reason - leave it be.

If you want it shaved all the time, get yourself one of the newer laser-type hair removers such as the YES or the NO NO that are painless, won't cut you, totally safe to use.

Although I am the texas ranger, I don't know the answer to this question regarding the criminality or legality of this practice.

I never shaved my pubic area. And most girls that I was in HS with (6yrs ago) never did either.

I'd put this down to a personal preference thing.

It's an option that many women use. As a man I prefer a lady to be shaven for convenience when performing oral sex on her.
