    Spiritual experience has been shown to be linked to neurological characteristics specifically associated with epilepsy. 

    Religious fervour is a symptom in a number of psychiatric conditions like schizophrenia and is a symptom of the disease NOT a real belief!

    To name a few: the peace and stillness of deep meditation; meaningful and heartfelt conversation with lifelong friends; giving kindness and compassion to those in pain and suffering; enjoying the seclusion and silence of being in nature; standing on top of a mountain realizing how expansive this world and universe truly are.

    Meditation and ritual, which I have fallen away from over the years, because I've been looking for a coven with regular meetings. And yet every time I find one, I procrastinate actually attending them.
