If Republicans had won a majority in the House in November, w/the 1 vote majority in the Senate, what would have happened Wed 1/6/21?

Would we be living in a Trump dictatorship with the end of our democratic republic on Thursday?

Update:

Yes, the GOP DOES control the Senate & he WILL lose there - but if they knew they could win in the House the temptation too grab the power might be too strong.

    Yes we would at that. Our first dictatorship. But he didn't win. We dodged a  bullet to the head.

    No. The GOP controls the Senate now and he is going to lose there too.

    Probably not. Overturning an election just because you don't like the results is very dangerous. Enough Republican's wouldn't want to do that for the same reason they don't want it done to them.
