Iommi’s tone?

How accurate of a Tony Iommi tone could I get with an Orange Crush 35rt? I have the 60s style SG with p90s and a Plexi pedal, how accurate can I get? Also what amp settings would get me the rounded sound from N.I.B. And the fuzzy squeal from the first track Black Sabbath?

Give any famous and distinctive guitarist any guitar, even a beginners set with a tiny amp, and they will still sound like "them".

90%+ of any guitarists unique sound is down to their technique; that's what you need to learn to be able to play and sound like them.

The amp settings are pretty general and vague, if you think how many different audio systems a guy like that has used over the decades and sounded the same regardless!

For the first track, try just slight overdrive/distortion.

The intro to N.I.B. is Geezer Butler playing bass through a wah pedal!

    (Seen it live).
