I'm not sure what you mean by "opposing"; but yes, none of these are part of - let alone necessary - to be a seeker and follower of Christ.

Are you a divisive person who requires the following of a particular teacher and practice rather than Christ?  (1 Corinthians, chapter 1)

Since NOBODY works Mary, saints, popes or patriarchs, they're wasting their time if they're still opposing them.  That first Protestant, Luther, taught faith alone teaches faith alone and nobody believes works alone get you to heaven.  Not all churches teach purgatory and, for at least 1500 years all Christians believed in transubstantation.  Evangelical Protestants with their own traditions -- altar call, etc. -- are in no position to citizen the Catholic prayer form called the rosary, which is a meditation one the life of Christ.    If not for the Catholic Doyay Rheims Bible, Protestants WOULDN'T HAVE a Bible.  Before the Bible was comprise in the 300s, Christians taught Holy -- not "sacred" -- Tradition.  Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Christian because they deny Christ is God and defied the biblical prohibition of adding or altering Scripture.

Bottom line:  anyone who worships Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is a Christian.

You are still talking about many denominations of large groups of people. They aren't going to think the same because of that fact. Human nature doesn't allow too much conformity with every person. There are divisions within divisions with all the groups. Mormon, Roman Catholics, Protestant, and Eastern Orthodox.

Yes. The protest that protestants were making was against corruption in the church. The Protestants broke away in order to get back to a Biblical foundation and teachings in line with Jesus' ministry.

Nobody on here can speak for ALL Protestants. Whereas very many object to some of the things you list, others have shown by their answers on here that they are not too bothered about a lot of those things. But, in general, Protestantism has always objected to Mariolatry, adoration of saints too, the claimed authority of popes and patriarchs, purgatory, transubstantiation, saying of the rosary, some element of Catholic Bible translation, some Catholic tradition, and writings of the Latter Day Saints and Jehovah's Witnesses.

However, Protestants believe that faith without works is dead (as the Bible says). What they object to is the idea that one must have faith AND works in order to be saved. You saying "Faith with Works" is misleading. With tradition, Protestants have their own traditions and are not against good traditions per say. But they object to tradition being put either on a par with the authority of scripture, or claimed to be greater than it. If you had said "Catholic authority of their traditions", that would have been more accurate.

Yes. The Bible is the perfect Word of God. Religion involves man trying to reach God or a better afterlife by doing good works. Religion cannot save you; only Jesus saves.

The truth is that death leads to heaven or hell, and the only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible is very clear that no one can earn their way to heaven since good works do not pay for sins. See Gal. 2:16, Rom. 3:23-28, 4:4-5, Eph. 2:8-9, Tit. 3:5. The only way to heaven is by believing in Jesus for His free gift of eternal life. Jesus shed His blood on the cross as the full payment for our sins. He did all the work; all He requires of us is that we believe in Him. Once you believe in Jesus Christ to save you, you are secure forever!

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).
