Are nicotine lozenges/gum better than smoking/vaping?
I have to get surgery in two weeks and it's hard to quit. I've been using nicotine lozenges for a month and a half. is it better than smoking up till the day of the surgery.

Definitely. I had a major heart operation last May, and the surgeon said I was very welcome to bring my nicotine gum to the hospital. I haven't smoked for 6 years, and my general practitioner also believes nicotine gum is much less harmful than smoking.
