Antibiotics and yeast infection?

I'm taking amoxicillin for an ear infection and started getting itching and white discharge. I don't have insurance anymore so I would rather not pay for another doctor visit/treatment unless I have to. Would it be fine if use monistat? I still have another 5 days of antibiotic treatment and I don't know if this would prevent monistat from working.

Of course it's fine. Most of us get thrush/yeast  on antibiotics. Most of us go to the pharmacist and get  treatment.

You are talking normal here for we ladies.

I did the same last month.

Yes. You do not need a $200 visit to tell you to use an antifungal agent.

Buy an antifungal at Walmart for $4.97
