  • How to quit first job?

I was hired at a fast food place but I just got a job offer from a place that's a lot closer to my home. I've only been working for four days and I feel bad about quitting because the manager was really nice and gave me a job even though I had no experience. I was planning on texting her something along the lines of, "I won't be able to work at fast food place because I've received and accepted a job offer from a place closer to home. Thank your for the opportunity." Should I write something else? Will I be forced to work the remainder of my shifts? I have another shift tomorrow.

  • Recovery rebate credit?

I didn't qualify for the first two stimulus checks because I was claimed as a dependent. Recovery rebate credit uses 2020 tax information and I graduated and no longer qualified as a dependent that year. When I was filing, I was asked if I missed both stimulus payments. I said I received the first stimulus (1,200) because I got a cares act grant through my college of 1,200. I thought that was the same thing because it was the same amount, but a friend is saying that the grant was not the same as a stimulus check from the government. Was I then supposed to say I missed both stimulus payments and get both stimulus payments? Did I make a mistake on my taxes?

  • Non-Filers and third stimulus?

I've never made enough money to have to file because I've only worked part-time and attended school full-time. Can I still file taxes even though I didn't make enough to be required to file? Will filing taxes be all I have to do?

  • Hair recovery after malnutrition?

How long would it take for hair to recover/ thicken after a long period of malnutrition. I almost chocked to death at the beginning of 2015. This traumatized me to the point that I had a hard time swallowing solids and liquids and wasn't able to eat much. It wasn't until around the end of 2016 that I got over my fear of swallowing/choking but by then my hair had thinned out a lot. Once I was able to eat normally again I had to move away to college where I wasn't eating as much as I needed to again because I was poor/ didn't know how to cook. So it was another three years of not eating enough but it I was eating slightly more than in 2015. I've now graduated, have a job, and know how to cook more. I've been eaten normally again for the past 8 months after about 5/6 years of malnutrition. I've gained weight and have noticed improvements in my hair. My scalp isn't as visible when I run my fingers through it and I don't shed an unhealthy amount of hair anymore but my hair is still thin. Will my hair keep improving or am I just stuck with thin hair now?

  • Medicaid and private insurance?

I'm eligible for medicaid but but I'm not eligible to shop for marketplace plans since my income is too low. I have jaw/tmj issues and wanted private dental insurance because of the better benefits. Can I buy private dental plans if I can't buy marketplace dental plans? If I want delta dental, can I just go to their site and buy dental insurance or is that not allowed either? What is the difference between private and marketplace plans/ Are they the same? I'm in CA and enrollment is open until January 31.

  • Swollen neck after ear infection?

I had an ear infection and if was painful to swallow for a few days. I finished my treatment and my throat and ear seem fine now. Now I'm starting to get swelling/tenderness in throat/under jaw as well as shoulder and arm pain. I know it's normal to get swollen lymph nodes during infections but why would I get swollen lymph nodes after my infections. Is this normal?

  • Ear infection and arm pain?

I had an inner and outer ear infection on my right ear and was given ear drops and amoxicillin. I also had pain swallowing for a day or two. I finished my treatment and my ear/throat seem fine now but I'm now having shoulder/arm pain on the same side. Is this normal? I noticed a bit of arm and shoulder pain at the beginning of the infection but it went away. Now I'm confused on why it would come back since my infection seems to have cleared up.

  • Antibiotics and yeast infection?

I'm taking amoxicillin for an ear infection and started getting itching and white discharge. I don't have insurance anymore so I would rather not pay for another doctor visit/treatment unless I have to. Would it be fine if use monistat? I still have another 5 days of antibiotic treatment and I don't know if this would prevent monistat from working.

  • Can't swallow pill?

I've had a hard time swallowing pills ever since I almost choked to death once. I was prescribed amoxicillin and was not expecting them to be as big as they were. I've been crushing them and taking them with water because I can't swallow them.  Can I call up the urgent care I went to to get a chewable/liquid form. I don't know if they'll be allowed to prescribe me something again since I already picked up my original subscription. I was prescribed amoxicillin-CLAV 875-125MG tablets.

  • Medicare retroactive coverage?

I had a student health plan that ended mid December because I graduated. Open enrollment in CA ends on January 31 this year and I'm eligible to enroll in medicare. Once I enroll, coverage won't immediately kick in but a friend told me medicare can cover previous medical costs. Is this true? I have a painful ear infection that I want to get treated but I don't have health insurance right now.

  • Gaining a feral cat's trust?

I've been feeding a feral cat for about four months. I assumed it was feral because of how it acted (really afraid of people, no vocalization, etc.). Recently, it started vocalizing a little bit and allowing me to touch him/her. It's still afraid of other family members and won't let them touch. A friend said behavior changes like these (increased vocalization/fearful to not fearful) could be signs of rabies. Is it likely I've just gained the cat's trust or should I be worried it could be signs of something else?

  • Tooth still sensitive after root canal?

I started to feel sensitivity on a tooth when I would bite down a couple days after I had a filling redone there. I thought I broke it but the dentist couldn't find a break in the x-ray or visually but he did suggest a mouth guard. I ended up getting a root canal done but the tooth is still sensitive to pressure. I had sharp pain when biting the morning after but it's gotten a bit better after that. Is it normal for a tooth to still be sensitive to pressure after a rood canal? Will the sensitivity resolve after I get the crown? It's the weekend so I can't ask my dentist

  • Haven't worn retainers in 7 months?

Is it fine to wear retainers after not wearing them for months? I can still put them on my teeth but they're tight and my teeth get a little sore.

  • Student tax question, fafsa?

I thought I wasn't supposed to file because I made less than $12,000. What I didn't realize is that things are more complicated for dependents. I didn't know I had to file if my unearned income was greater than $1,050 . For the year 2018, I was a full time student (20) and claimed as a dependent. My earned income was $1603 and my unearned income (scholarships exceed tuition) was $7525. Was I wrong in thinking I didn't need to file? I need my 2018 tax information to submit my fafsa and I don't know whether to submit proof of non-filing or tax return. I made an appointment with an IRS center to get a non-filing letter. Should I cancel the appointment and go to a tax preparer instead to file my 2018 taxes? If I did need to file, does that mean I'm going to owe a lot of money now?

  • Increase in peach fuzz female?

I've noticed a slow increase in peach fuzz on my face over the last two months. Is this normal or is there a chance I can have a hormonal imbalance? If it is a hormonal imbalance, could the peach fuzz be reversible once I balance my hormones?

  • Tax question for fafsa?

I was a dependent and my father included my 1098t form in his 2018 taxes. Scholarships exceeded qualified expenses by 4,614.46 and my income was 1600 for that year. I didn't file because I thought I didn't have to file since I didn't earn 12,200. I need to submit fafsa again and it needs my 2018 taxes, which I didn't file. Was I right over the fact that I didn't have to file? If not, do I have to file? Or do I just need a proof of non-filing letter?

I didn't file because I thought I didn't have to file if I didn't earn 12,200. Now I know singles who are also dependents have other requirements. I need to submit fafsa again but no longer can be claimed as a dependent. Fafsa needs my 2018 taxes, which I didn't file. I will try to file my 2018 taxes now. Did I make a mistake by not filing? Will I be fined? Since my father already included 1098t in his taxes, does that mean I don't have to include them when I file?
