I hate what is happening here and wish I didn't have to message you during these times, but I am hopeful we will survive for the next 10 days. There's a reason why this person doesn't want to talk to you. Perhaps because you seem to make everything about you. Don't bother messaging him. Leave him alone. Perhaps you should take some time and figure out why you're "manipulative."
