given a function which has an inverse so that ( x ,f ) is a point in graph of f then ( f , x) is a point on the graph of the inverse function x.......so f depends upon x while x depends upon f.....(df/dx)(dx/df) ≡ 1 ====> derivative of the inverse x(f) satisfies dx/df ≡ 1 / ( df/dx)....
