I started using Goodfellow & co shampoo and conditioner. I started shampooing every three days.

No, I use a conditioner 3 times per week.

It depends on what kind of hair you have. If it is dry and you have a naturally dry scalp then it should be fine. I have limp, straight, oily hair so I only use conditioner once a week.

If you shampoo your hair every day, you should condition it or your hair can dry out.
When hair dries out that can cause split ends, which can split up the shaft of the hair and break off where they want to.

Condition only when you shampoo.
Shampoo only when your hair needs it, not because of some schedule.
