Do we need Jesus to love and serve each other, or can we do it without him?
Yes, I noticed you use "WE" a lot, Oumansof, formerly Augie the psycho.

Nobody 'needs' Jesus to show love to others and to serve others. Millions of people do both and they have no belief in Jesus or if they do, they don't rely on Jesus to show them how to love, and how to serve, as he did. All humans are made in the image of God and love is a natural quality (though it can be trampled on and destroyed by others who are utterly unloving and selfish.) The point is that once we experience the love God has for us as shown by what Jesus did for us, and we grasp the immensity of how he served us even to the point of death, we see everything in the world differently. Once the Spirit of Christ is given to us by Christ, we can love those we formerly hated. We can serve those who despise us. We can lay down our lives for others, which we would never have done before becoming Christians.

The Natural Law pretty much inspires such acts, but without Jesus, much of the power and purpose is lost.

Do you think that the 60 percent of the world who are not Christians do not love or serve each other?
Or the 100 percent of the world who lived more than 2000 years ago?

Of course we can love and serve others without a God. I do both every day without him, even more now then when i was a christian.
LOL look at the HYPOCRITE Oumansof who blocks me then has the gall to call ME a coward! Typical!

I've never tried it without him, but his presence in my life motivates me in what I do.

No, you could love and serve other people without Jesus, but there were two commandments. Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor. Without Jesus there is no salvation.
