Why was George considered the most “Irish” Beatle even though Paul has the most Irish last name?
With all 4 of the Beatles being from Liverpool - which is know as the most Irish city in England — Ringo is said to be the most “English” Beatle, and George the most “Irish”, even though McCartney is the most Irish name out of the 4 of them. I’d think Paul was the most “Irish” of them.

All of them are/were British nationals John, Paul, and George had Irish ancestry Ringo had no Irish ancestry........ however ancestry doesn't change who they were, and that they all were British

Who was doing the considering?
I was a young teenager when the Beatles were big.......read all the fan magazines, heard radio commentaries, watched anything I could on TV, sat in the stadium screaming my head off at them, have read numerous articles and several books on the Beatles in the intervening 50 years .........and this is the first time I have heard anyone say anything about any Beatle being more "Irish" than any other.
Where did you get this information?

Who said ? I was there when the Beatles started out. It was never mentioned about being English or Irish. Who cares after 50 years?
