Do I HAVE to go into my doctor's office for a regular visit?

Since Covid I have had video visits with my doctor but for my next appointment he wants me to come into his office. The only time I went to the physicians building he is in was to get bloodwork done. I do not want to go to his office, I know too many people who have been exposed or got covid here lately and it is making me very anxious about going in to see him. I would rather stick with the video visits for now. Can he make me come in and/or refuse anything like refills of medications?

Yes, at some point you HAVE to go in.

Only so much can be done via video.

He can't MAKE you come in, but yes,

he can refuse to prescribe meds/refills

unless he can physically examine you.

Of course he can require an in-person visit.  If you don't like it, you might want to find a different doctor, but you can't do a thorough assessment over a camera.
