Heck, a club of 15 year old boys beat them in a football match.  Obviously they are nowhere near as professional as the men’s professional team, yet they are paid quite well.

I’ve never seen a team act as childish as the American women’s football (soccer) team.   Men’s teams don’t behave like that.

Not -more- professional, they just need to be -as- professional as the men's team.  The standard has been set by men already.  Coming in as a "women's team" means you at least try to meet the standard.

Could you imagine a "men's gymnastic team" that doesn't even strive to meet the women's gymnastic standard, yet expects equal status to the women's teams with equal pay and enforced television coverage as well?  Nobody would put up with that.

The U.S. women’s team acts far less professional than the men’s.  They are an embarrassment.   They don’t need to act as professional as the men’s team, but they should certainly move in that direction.

They need to take their pants off and spread their legs.
